I have an 89 240 coupe. there shouldn't be any problem with getting an s13 short shifter right?

Re: will short shifter for S13 work on the coupe?

SOHC and DOHC trannies are the same. both use the same shifter as the SR20DET also. and the coupe and hatch are exactly the same from the doors forward

Re: will short shifter for S13 work on the coupe?

the RB20DE, SR20DET (RWD), and KA24(D)E all share the same shifter. IDK though, the last SOHC 240sx i looked at apeared to have a different syle mounting plate then what i installed on my DE. Maybe its just my crazy eyes..

I've heard that installing a short shifter the s13 really doesnt make a big diffrence in the shift length, Is it really even worth the buy??
