Ignition Switch Trouble installing

I thought I was good to go, but I managed to break the procelain piece that goes into the ignition switch. I have the piece, but I doubt any type of glue will hold it in place. Is there any way I can replace that part? I am so frustrated it is rediculous.

I don't recall anything porcelain. What part would it be?
I remember a black plastic housing with wires attached from it to a block, a smaller 3 wire harness that was unused, and a single wire with a white plastic knob on it that fit into the top of the key cylinder.

Perhaps a local salvage yard would be your best choice for any hard to find items.

The part that goes in the hole on the ignition switch. It is the white part that you mount the ignitoin switch module on before you screw it in. There is like a little rectangular hole in the ignition switch. When you turn your key, a gear turns this part, which in turn turns the ignition switch. I'm not sure what it is called, but I think it is made out of something other than plastic. I thought it felt like rough procelain. Anyway, it looks like I could replace the part, but I don't have a clue on how to take the ignition apart. It looks like I would need to take the steering wheel off and everything.

Don't know exactly what it is, but these trucks are mostly all plastic. I highly doubt it would be porcelain, might be either nylon or phenolic. I don't understand why you would take that part out. The block just screws onto the bottom of the key cylinder, doesn't it?

Regardless, think about calling some salvage yards if you can't repair the part by either 1) epoxy glue 2) super glue or 3) melting the part together with something like a soldering iron.

Ok, I glued the part with Krazy glue. You are right, it was plastic, but so brittle that I thought it was ceramic or something. Anyway, it is back in there and works fine. Instead of putting the torx screws back in it, I use a normal screw instead so I can just use a flathead screwdriver. (I searched far and wide, but couldn't find a 3E torx socket.) Anyway, the hardest part was putting the fron bezel on corectly. Now, the next step is to see if that solves my stalling problem. If not, at least I know it isn't the ignition switch.
