A Toast to Getting OLD!

I would like to propose a toast to the advantages to getting old!

Everyone here, including myself only ever has bad things to say about it, and for good reason. Generaly it sucks.

But in the spirit of being postive and spreading the love and other such hippy bullshit you may only state some of the advantages of getting old!

For me two rather major ones have occured at once.

Cheaper and im talking 60% cheaper car insurance. :ylsuper

and

Full Student Allowance, regardless of parents income :ylsuper

One other good thing about pushing 40 and looking 50........when you buy sweets at the petrolstation,you can say 'they're for my grandchildren'

and people believe you

Advantages: 1. Young girls hold doors open for me!
2. If I look at those young girls, people think I'm a dirty
old man.
3. Box boys and girls always ask if I need help with the
groceries.
4. If people don't like the way I look ( I wear Hawaiian
shirts everyday now ) TUFF, LIKE I WOULD CARE
ANYWAY!

Well Moppie my dear soul...next is a wheel chair ramp into your flat.....watch out for the lawn bowls, dont want you tripping over them when your 4" thick glasses fog up....Oh,and by the way, that noise you hear, its your hearing aid whistling....not the blow off valve you once had.

$5 meals at the RSA !!!!
