need help loering 92 accord

ok ive got a 92 accord i recently bought a set of coilover springs but for some strange reason the car will not lower it suppose to go from 0-4 inches but i dont know what im doing wrong could somebody briefly explain exactly how the spring mounts on the shock thanks
