new engine
i was wondering if only a 1.9l engine would fit into a 96 sl2 engine bay. and i was wondering if there is a forum that would have a engine swap on them

Well years ago my brother put a Ford 289 V8 in an MGB.
I guess it depends on how much work you want to do. |

well i didn't want to do to much but the biggest i want to go is a 6 cylinder, i saw a tt supra engine with everything you need ( harness tranny and all the accessory stuff) for like 4k on jdm and i belive the engine is a I-6

Last I saw, the Supra was rear-wheel drive.
That's a lot of work. Would it be worth it? Just buy a faster car to start with. |

There is no direct replacement for the Saturn 1.9 other than another Saturn 1.9. You can do anything you want, really, if you got the cash and/or fabrication skillz.

yea i know but like i was wondering so for the ones that would need almost everything redone like changing it to rwd verses finding fwd engine . and i was looking for one that i don't have to scaraface to much stuff to have the engine in.

Well hell if you bring up this no holds barred bullshit why not swap in a nissan VQ40 bottom end with the best VQ35 heads and intake.
