Ecu

my friend has an 04 ion redline and we are trying to locate the ecu code reader plug, pep boys doesnt know where it is...any help?

by ecu reader plu i assume you mean the 16-pin OBDII datalink connector? exactly off hand i don't know, but by law it must be within 3 feet of the driver, and require no special tools to access. 90%+ cars it is simply under the dash, at the bottom of the knee panel(guessing at that name), acura likes to hide them behind ashtrays, others behind the fuse block cover if near by.
