Exsessivly high idle 2000-2500 rpms
My 99 rodeo runs really loud and high. I think the FAQS are down. Any tips on what I should look at? I had it at the mechanics last week. After messing around with it he was able to make the check engine light go on and it gave the code p0101. He recommeded that we change the MAP and the car idled exsessivly low for 3-4 days until today where it started back with it's old problems again. Any help would be apreciated!

My Rodeo did this after I neglected to clean the throttle body for a long time. The butterfly would stick in the opening of the T.B. after warm up and would cause a high idle.
