Need help in making a decision.,,,PLEASE

Recently moved to the states to study for my masters and looking for a car that will treat me well as long as i do the same. I came across a pretty nice 99 passat, white, tan interior, wood trim, sun roof, spoiler, 121000 miles. The owner is the original owner and the carfax report shows regular servicing and no irregularities. Am I armed with enough information to make a decision?? Is there something Im not thinking of or asking?? I have always admired VWs but never actually owned, cause they are pretty expensive where I am from. The owner was upfront about 3 problems: ABS light in dash will illuminate and chime 3 times upon starting, but he was assured that it is a sensor problem and brakes are fine. Secondly, the FM part of the radio is inoperative and thirdly, the driver door lock will not lock with the key and will only lock if the passenger reaches over and locks it with the door closed. (did i explain that clearly enough??). What is a fair offer to make this gentleman????
