Angry can't remove rt cv axle

I removed half of the rt cv axle but can't get the other half after the bearing. can someone help me out. 1990 camry 4 cy.

Check the FAQ thread for information on how this was done on newer Camrys. Maybe there is some useful information.

Re: can't remove rt cv axle

When I removed my passenger side cv axle I tried the pry bar method and didn't have much luck, therefore I used a brass drift punch and hammer. I gave the axle ( drift punch) two good wacks and it jumped out of the tranny. I think the sudden dynamic shock vs. a steady pressure from the pry bar works best after trial and error testing.
