03 malibu missing

Recently my 03 3.1 malibu started missing when first started in the morning for about 10- 15 secs. and it won't miss again until the car has set all day at work. Low coolant light started coming on yesterday morning for a few seconds and then going off. Could this by intake internal leak. No coolant leaking externally thay I can find. 34000 miles, still in warranty! Dealer is to look at this week.

Re: 03 malibu missing

1) What type engine?
2) Spark plug wires good?
3) May be an intake leak - I would have that checked while still under warranty.

Re: 03 malibu missing

the engine is 3100 V6 plug wires are all ok as far as I can tell. The car is at the dealer as we speak, they are looking into an intake leak or possible head gasket. 34000 miles and maybe major engine work to repair internal coolant leak, Chevy needs to get a clue and fix this before the owners run from chevy and never comeback

Re: 03 malibu missing

You must be saying the miss because of a check engine code? Welcome to the club - where you been, fellow? Chevy knows. Believe me - they know. That's why they had a $3.1B loss this qtr. They lost what Toyota found - customers matter.
