Completed '06 Corvette Z06

Here is my lastest completed project. The new Revell Corvette Z06. The inspiration for the paint came from the hotwheels car shown beside it.

I built it boxstock, and almost curbside. The final fitment of the kit is horrible, so I left all the upper parts of the engine off, and glued the hood shut.

The body was painted Cobra Colors Chevy LeMans Blue Metallic, and Lamborghini Nero Osirus Pearl. The interior was painted dark grey with blue and light grey accents. The wheels are magnesium metalizer and cleared.

I added a wing from a Subaru WRX kit, also painted 2 tone.

Re: Completed '06 Corvette Z06

I still don't like the wing. The paint is incredible, though.

Excellent! I see you're still polishing paint to within an inch of its life. I like the two-tone work and the magnesium paint on the wheels.
