1990 GTi

For the past week my dad has been working on a 1990 GTi 16v. It sat out front while he wasn't working on it and at least 5 or 6 people asked if it was for sale. I'm not into Volkswagen's to much but is the '90 a desirable year. The car didn't seem to quick and I think the shift pattern is horrible. 1st and 3rd were so close. Not a bad little car though considering it's 16 years old.

Re: 1990 GTi

the 16v gti is VERY desireable and if its in good condition w/ no rust it could prob. be sold fro 3500-5000 depending on condition and miles

Re: 1990 GTi

Okay, this VW you mention, is 16yrs old, worth nothing!
Please post your address, and i will personally remove it from your property.
If it is equipped with Recaro seats, and power windows, then I will charge a small fee to remove it.
Just kidding, the Gti is worth a pretty penny in the VW crowd. There is an almost cult like following of these car. The are the original Hot Hatch (rabbit/golf gti's).
