so hows your season going?

been an alright season for so far, killed the motor first time testing, pilot bearing on clutch was installeds incorrectly which got the rear main bearing hot enough that it welded itself together, no major damage though, second time testing, killed the motor again, same bearing issue again! thnis time just chewed up the bearing and cracked our block(Dart Big M) and scuffed our crank but it cleaned up after 0.010 of machining. got it all back together, first race was a rainout, secon was nearly a rainout, but we went out in the first round, and our chute didnt deploy, and we went off the top end, no major damage though! track was realy bumby, both time we were in the right lane we hit the bump and caught about a foot of air, we dont plan on going back until they fix it. went to our first ihra race of the year and won our 3rd iron man, then 2 weeks later at the NHRA canadian national open we won a wally, overall its been an alright season so far, how about you guys?

Re: so hows your season going?

Everything held up through the one day at the track so far.

12.64 at 115.44 MPH
2.234 short time

Car has the power up top to make it a respectable run without hooking.

DA = 7400

Moser 9" is getting delivered this week.

Ten bolt is out.
I also have some MT ET radials coming this week to help.
Looking for 11's here.

Re: so hows your season going?

Haven't had much of a season so far, ran some mid 12's down in Atlanta for the R/T Nationals, but that was severely detuned (only 8psi). I'll be installing a standalone fuel controller next week, then trying to tune it LOL Also need a locker for the rear, the stock lsd is toast. I'll be doing a three core intercooler and finally tweaking the alky injection. Then I'll be ready to hit the track and see what she can really do

Re: so hows your season going?

12.324 at 115.55

DA was 8500+.
I was running Nitto DR's on my 17" wheels....still got a 1.868 short time.
Decent night.

I can't wait to run the ET streets with a little 55-60 degree weather!
