Selling my Stealth-It's Time
Maybe it's my age but the Stealth will be gone. Have owned it for 4 years and for the past 3 have been unable to fix the ever present "miss" in the engine. Tried everything and still it happens. I'm not going to sit back and throw new parts at it and hope that fixes it. I had another engine that I swapped parts with hoping to find the miss but that was a waste of time. Nice car when it run's right. Loads of speed, handles and brakes very well but it's time to say good bye. Will I miss it? Yea a little but it's not worth the headache.

Re: Selling my Stealth-It's Time
so you're selling your car, and its been a big headache for you..............that's nice.
would you like to advertise it here? would you like to hopefully sell it to someone on these forums? well then if the answer is yes, a little info about your car would be helpful. ya know, the usual year, make, model, trim, color, mileage, atx or mtx, modifications, maintenance performed, stories, fun facts, etc, etc, etc.

Re: Selling my Stealth-It's Time
It's a 92 R/T with the 3.0L DOHC,5 sp. Car is in perfect shape. It's the red/orange color(Best color for the Stealth)with original CD/Cassette. From the start I wanted to keep it in it's original condition. Even though it's 14 years old it still turns head. Have not even put a for sale sign on it and already been offered $5200 for it. Mileage is 128,000 miles. Like I said the car looks brand new. Been thinking of keeping it thinking that 5-10 years down the road it should increase in value but from what I have been told it won't go up in value. At this point $5200 is not a bad price. Will probably sell it.

Re: Selling my Stealth-It's Time
Not many Stealths around here. This is what I mean that being offered $5200 for the car is a good price. They have a car show here in town every other week at a local store parking lot. It's where everyone brings there car and show's it off. Some really nice car's and trucks. Really do admire the work they do. I think around here there are more people getting tired of the local kid who puts a loud muffler on his Honda Civic and calls it a hotrod. On the other side there is some impressive work done on Honda's and Neon's. I think my Stealth can bring that much money because in it's stock form your getting a high performance car from the ground up. I think in 1992 the Stealth was(R/T) a few years ahead of everyone else when it comes to handleing, braking and horsepower. Fact is,like I said before,it still turns heads for a 14(soon to be)15 year old car. Talked to a friend of mine yesterday and he know's a guy who is "very" good at troubleshooting problems like my Stealth has. With the $5200 offer it's very tempting to sell it. I'm going over Monday and having a talk with this guy and see what he says. I would really like to solve the problem. I'm curious to what is causing the "miss". Don't problems like this just bug the crap out of you? I simply don't know what to check for anymore. Will let you know how I come out. I hope it's nothing more than a "loose" wire. If it is I will quote the great Homer Simpson and say "DOH!".
