97 Airbag Code 34

I've got a 97 that had both airbags deployed. I've replaced the airbags,
both front sensors, clockspring, and the SRS computer. Still get code 34.
Tried to clear codes using the latest Snap-On scanner. No luck.

Do I have to go to Ford or is there any other alternative?

Thanks in Advance!!!!

I have a factory service manual and this is what it says on code 34.
Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Low Resistance or Shorted.

The connectors for the air bag and the air bag sliding contact have metal spring clips that act as shorting bars. These shorting bars are built into the plastic hard shell connectors. The shorting bars are designed to short circuits 611 and 612 together when the connectors are not mated. This allows the air bag system to work even when the connections are broken or gone. When you hooked up the connectors you didn't get them fully back into their retracted positions. OK. Here's what you do. Take whatever you need off to get to the connectors. Push them together hard. Really hard. This will fully mate the the spring clips (shorting bars) and the light will go out on the dash. You will not have to reset anything. The light will go out as soon as you have the connectors completely plugged into each other. You are very welcome. I am glad to help you. Davescort97
