I bought a lite bulb at Autozone and I saw it on the computer myself that it is for a 2002 Grand Prix. On the package, it says it's a courtesy/dome light (561). However, I can't find the darn thing under my hood. I really thought that I had seen a light under there before. Am I nuts or what? Thanks!

Re: Engine Compartment Light 2002 GP 3.8L
Probably not. Not all Grand Prixs have a engine compartment light. It depends on what options were installed such as lighting package. Do you have a trunk compartment light?
I have an engine compartment on my 97.5 GTP but it has the full SE package option for back them (fully loaded). If you do not see the lamp socket/holder then you do not have one.

Re: Engine Compartment Light 2002 GP 3.8L
I do have a trunk light If there was an engine compartment light, would the socket actually be in the hood or around the top of the engine area?
Thanks for the reply. |
