Slowprocess vs "yet another Lightning" on the street....VID

This is a vid I threw together last night of the last race my truck had before the fresh 4l60e crapped out. It was taken at night, but you get the idea. Too bad I took out the bottle for him though. It could have really been ugly for him. Traction was TERRIBLE!!!

That is how a street race is meant to happen.

Nice kill. Too bad it wasn't day out. We could have seen the Lightning getting killed even better.

Good kill. I've waxed two lightnings. I refuse to believe that they can run 12's on slicks stock. They look good though.

What times do you run w/ and w/o nitrous?

Yeah someone posted a vid of a Lightning smoking a Porsche Carrera GT. They can be made to be fast, but stock they're nothing to write home about. I just tend to think of them as overrated. The ford boys swear that they are 13 sec. trucks, but alot of them are in the 14's from what i've seen.

Then again it seems like all Ford vehicles with superchargers are immensely affected by heat soak. 03 Cobras run like snot in the heat.

Slowprocess FTW... never had even a slight doubt in my mind. Good kill... would've been a masacre with the spray.

That's very possible, with the right supporting mods and a shortblock that can handle some serious boost. I know a couple guys in VA that are running 10.9/11.0@124-126 with KB's and built motors. I have a grudge match with one as soon as I get my standalone in and tuned, and of course get back over to the Norfolk area
