Speedo Problem

I just bought a 92 Chrysler Lebaron 3.0 V6 to make up for gas prices for $40. The only thing wrong with it is the speedo doesnt work. It just stays at 0. I took the dash apart, and played around with it, and it seems that the motor works and its getting power. I didnt see any bad fuses. Any ideas? Maybe a sensor I didnt see?

Re: Speedo Problem

I have the same problem with my 2.5L turbo, in mine there is a speed sensor that comes from your transaxle. I have problems at the clip(bad connection) I need to replace it. Also I have the digital dash, but you car should be the same. I would fiddle with the clip and when I started driving the speed would bouce anywhere from 2 km/h to 214km/h.

Hope that helps,

-Doc

Re: Speedo Problem

Yes that was it. There was some corrosion on the clip. I cleaned it off and now it works fine. Thanks for your help.
