91 Accord: TCU: LED or NOT?

I took out my old TCU and noted that there was NO led light on it. From what I've read in old service manuals, there're references to this light. The replacement I've purchased from Recycle Yard DOES have the LED light.

Hmmm... All the digits except for one on the recycle-yard-purchased TCU match the one that's currently in vehicle. I know that I'm owner #4 of this beastie, so I don't know if the lack of the LED means that TCU's been replaced or not. Does it really matter whether this LED is there or not?
Anyone know the acceptable/interchangable numbers for this part for '91? Honda Service Manual for CB7 doesn't give acceptable replacement numbers for this unit. Part number fouling up is 28100-PXO-832-M1. Part going in is 21800-PXO-932-M1. Figure it'll work, it nothing else's fouled-up in it's guts?
