Front Wheel Noise
I just want to share this. I have a 02 ZX3 with 104K miles on it. Over the past months, I heard clanking on the front wheels but didn't know where it was coming. Then, two weeks ago, I heard a different sound. A thumping one like a hard rubber that was stretched and released.
I inspected the spring/shock and found the pass. coil spring broken. I replaced spring and shock on both wheels. Still heard clanking on the pass. wheel well. Then, I replaced the bushing that sits on top of the strut assembly. My baby runs like new now. I will replace the rear shocks soon, too.
