Grinding sound
I noticed that there are a lot of very well informed fellow pontiac owners here, and i thought i would run a question by you guys that has had me scratching my noodle.
i have a 1995 grand am 2.3 quad that has about 192,000 miles on it. It actually runs very well, but has recently began emitting a grinding noise from the front drivers side tire. i checked the pads and what-not and saw that they are in decent condition. the noise ONLY comes when the car is accelerating from a stop. during normal driving or highway driving, it is not making noise at all. if anyone can help, that would be great, cause i am pretty stumped. thanks.

Re: Grinding sound
Sounds like you hav a brake issue, but it also could be a wheel bearings/Hub that is bad on the Driverside.
Might jack up the car and see if the wheel has any wobble or if it grinds when turned by hand.
