If it was just a 250 mile drive for me I'd be there, pictures or no pictures - but I can still understand your apprehension.

His collection seems to be regarded as one of the best in the country, so it's probably worth going if you can make it.

This is true, but starting tomorrow, I have 4 weeks until the MCAT. I have TEN full length practice exams to take. I really have no time now because I procrastinate. Had the show been after 8/19, then yes most likely. I will PM the guy on F-chat and ask if he can confirm with the museum if the F1 is there (possibly at Miles' house).

I wouldn't say that. Seeing an F1 is an amazing experience and you never get "bored" of seeing them. I've seen about 13 now and every time its special. Pictures are an added bonus but being a budding photographer myself i think it would be torture walking through the museum without being able to take pics.

On one of the other forums they were taking about a different tour and their contact at the Museum said he MAY be able to organize a group photo or a photo of you next to your fav. car or a photo of the car but made it clear that he wasn't sure about it. I say call them up and see what their policy is. Maybe they have a shop that sells pics of the cars?

I PM'd the guy on F-chat to see if he can verify if the F1 is there. He said he'll get back to me asap. Although you saw his post and it seems like they're adamant about no pics.

Surely they mean camera phones only? Or do they have a problem with people making calls? I bought a phone wihtout a camera specifically so it could be allowed into places where cameras weren't permitted (courts, federal buildings, etc.).

Update: Collier Automotive cancelled it. Some problem with the building I think. Hopefully the reschedule will be on a weekend after Aug 19 for me to go 100%.
