1998 S10 Issues

Have a few issues I am hoping someone can help shed some light on:

1. My A/C is no longer blowing cold air. Also when attempting to use my defroster i am getting nothing but fog on my windshield.

2. A recurring problem is also that the accelerator seems to stick going down the road, even when it is out of gear the engine is revving high.

3. I am getting a lot of heat blowing down on my feet while driving. If i turn on the vent it cools down some.

Thanks for any help offered.

Have you had the system pressures checked? It could be just low of freon, or a bad clutch coil.. If you turn the A/C switch to off, does it idle back down?

Have your ac system checked for leaks

When you get the moisture on your windshield, does it smell sweet? (Turn on the heat to verify this)

For the hot air on your feet, open the glove box and push small metal clip up and lower glove box and remove the gray vacuum line...you will hear air push out...stop it up with a vacuum cap and your all set...

people call it a "hot foot fix"

The sweet smell is your heater core taking a dump... If it's leaking enough to mist the windshield, you need to replace it before you end up with more antifreeze on your passenger side carpet..
