This is only speculation and should not be considered fact.
Rio grandes where only produced in 95.
They only had the 2.5L
They had ungraded seats with the same cloth as later TJ Wranglers.
The Rio Grande sticker on the rear fenders.
They came in forest green and a platinum color with spice top and interior carpet.
Upgraded sound system with sound bar.

Those are the things that all Rio Grandes Ive seen have in common.
My Rio also has A/C. Most Ive seen have a center console but mine didnt. Some had steel sport wheels and some had aluminum five spoke wheels. An automatic trans was also an option.

wierd!! ...mine is a 95' but it doesnt have A/C..its a 5spd...and its white with a black hardtop....aluminum wheels and spice interior.....suposedly factory hardtop.. ...i dunno

Now that you mention white, I do believe Ive seen a white Rio Grand before. The black hardtop seems kinda fishy though. Generally the top and interior color, or at least rollbar pad color, match.

yeah the hardtop is kinda fishy...but i do have a spice softtop to match it...i was wonderin what to coat the hardtop with...its kinda starting to fade...
