Needs new shocks-What would you choose?
2001 Ext. Cab-2WD I'm putting on new rear brakes and noticed that both rear shocks are leaking oil real bad. With only 37,000 miles i'm a little surprised they didn't last longer. Checking the local parts store there are many shocks to choose from with prices ranging from $15 to $95. I really don't believe the $95 shock is "that" much better than the $15 shock. I could be wrong. Certainly won't be the first time(Nor the last). Keep in mind I will probably change the front ones also. What shock would you buy? I put a new set on my 95 Explorer that were Gabriels and they started to rust out in less than 6 months. What shocks would you buy? Like I said it's 2WD and don't haul that much with it. Thanks for your input!

Re: Needs new shocks-What would you choose?
Well, from personal experience, I like the Monroe Sensatrak's.... Good for road and my off roading. Not overly expensive...

Personally, I've always been partial to Monroe HD's.
