Re: 2000 pontiac grand am se hazzard switch noise

I too have this problem only I'm in a 99 Grand Am, I found a thread on another site last night that said it isn't the hazard switch it is actually the "mult-function" switch (turn signal switch) some said they have cleaned it and the noise stopped others said they bought a new one, but both said the noise comes back after a year or so. Personally I just turn my radio up louder to cover the noise.

heres a recall list for the 2000 Grand Am
2000 GA recall

Look down at the "EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HAZARD FLASHING WARNING LIGHTS:SWITCH" details.
