bypass the vats question

If i take it to a mechanic will they know what bypass the vats is? cuase i really suck at doing shit and i dont wanna mess up . OR am i better getting a remote start?

This is not an uncommon procedure, it eliminates the ign key cyl/key in the vats operation, what are you doing this for?

my module is bad so my car wont start so imma bypass it will a shop do that for me?

Probably not a dealer but maybe a smaller shop would.

Hi, to let you know that the cheverolet problems with the ignition switch in the dash, the one that wont let it crank and the security system says it is shutting it down, I have an '03 Monte Carlo that was doing the same thing. You need to replace the ignition switch HOUSING. That is what the wiring harness plugs into on the back. It will cost around $100, more or less depending on where you live and where you go. It took me forever to figure this out and I hope that it helps a lot of people out there save time and money trying to fix the problem.
