Angry 88 Chevy S10 2.8L running problems

I have a 88 chevy S10 2.8L V6 4x4, now the problem is when I start the motor when its cold it willn't run it just stalls unless I give it gas for a few minutes. Then when I get it running when I go down the road it willn't go unless I pump the gas till it hits about 25 or 30 mph. and today I was checking my timing when I heard a hising noise the truck started to run good but just idled alittle high. I found out it was my PCV valve, with the hose on it on it wouldn't run it just stall with it off it run good just idle high. Does anyone have any ideas whats going on with it? I have replace my PCV valve, TPS , distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, checked my timing. Any help or ideas would be nice I really need to figure this out fast. Thanks

Sounds like a vacuum leak, look for that hissing noise and you'll probably find it

Check all vac lines and vac ball for leak. Or is vac ball full of condensation ? Mine had those 2 small vac lines burn or crack, where they go over exhaust y pipe, on their way to switch ontop of transfer case.

Re: 88 Chevy S10 2.8L running problems

I took it to a mechanic and he cleaned all the carbon out from under the throttle body and then checked all my vac lines, and put new plug wires on. I helped it a bunch but it still hesitates when you first give it gas till it is fully warmed up.
