i've got a 94 toyota 4x4 sr5 pickup 3 liter v6. I see alot of people with aftermarket exhaust and i was wondering the pro cons horsepower,fuel economy,sound. Also the best kind of exhaust borla,flowmaster and are you supposed to leave the cat in or take out thanx clay

Magnaflow=best exaust. if you take the cat out, i think it would be hard to pass emissions, thus making it illegal to drive on the road.

Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow is like Coke vs Pepsi; they're the same thing but everybody has their preference.
An aftermarket cat back exhaust might give you a minor performance improvement, but for any big difference you need a header to go along with the improved exhaust. Don't even waste your $ on those coffee can fart pipes the ricers stick on their cars. And tampering with vehicle emissions in any way, including the cat conv, is illegal.

flowmaster sounds good, but don't flow worth a crap. magnaflow is the best over all, they sound REAL GOOD with headers!!

Don't waste your money on expensive big name performance mufflers. There's hardly any muffler that flows more freely than a good old fashioned glasspack. Just slap on a Cherrybomb 24 " with a 2 1/2" or 3 " inner diameter for about $20- $30 and be done with it.
