Help, pleaaaaseeee....
Work is DEAD!!!! We have 100% of nothing to do.... help me... Its just so bloody mind numbing! Ive just gotten back from deployment and this week we have nout to do! But might be going away in 2 more weeks.

long periods of lingering monotonous boredom punctuated by sharp moments of sheer terror...
as opposed to my work which is long periods of continual trouble-shooting and reactive action punctuated by sharp moments of insight where I realise why the absolutely pointless the other time I spend at work is because some @#$%head who has no idea about: a) The business b) Managing and maintaining the motivation of an intelligent workforce c) Or any @#$%ing idea about the laws of New Zealand and main motivation is trying to score another few percentage points on his/her executive bonus remuneration scheme... which amounts to more than my entire staff's annual salary bill...
