Re: 2000 f350 broken clutch fork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive seen this happen before when the clutch disk is installed upside down, causing the center of the disk to bind on the flywheel. It takes alot of extra pressure to compress the pressure plate. Different vehicle/engines will give different results, ive seen some, the flywheel was dished deep enuff, it would actually work either way. Normally though, there would be hard shifting and noise associated with it. Something to check though, its easy to do sometimes, even if you know better, especailly if youre distracted while youre working.
Edit: Also, if the fork isnt attched to the pivot properly, or the throwout is binding.
