whats the best year SRT-4 2 get?

i know i know, you have heard this question a thousand times, i am truly sorry, but im looking into getting one, and all i know is cavaliers...

what year will give me the best bang for my buck (and i read the other threads and was wondering what LSD is (related to cars not drugs lol)

i wanna spend 15k on a car, and my uncle will help me because he buys and sells cars from auctions. he can get me a bunch of different cars but im really leaning toward the SRT4. any info, specs, opinions are welcome. thanx in advance.

Yeah, definitely time to step it up a notch...You should get a 2004 if you want reliable and cheaper...Some of the 05's are going for a pretty penny and a good percentage are having tranny problems. And like you stated, the 04's-05's come with the lsd, which will help out some with traction(some being the operative word). Let me know if you have any other questions...

so you suggest the 2004 with LSD? i hear alot of people say that LSD isnt all its cracked up 2 be? any opinions on that?

it's not...take an srt with one and an srt without one(both mildly modded) and you would be lucky if you saw any time differences between the two.

but you would on a road coarse when your spinning your inside tire like there is no tomorrow... imo def get an 04 because the lsd does make a difference, and the e-blue is almost as sexy as the orange blast...

Well, I got an srt because...well...Because you had cool movies on your computer with a surround system so it basically just sold me the car right there...so I thank your computer and nice speakers...Thank you speakers

The best Dodge SRT-4 to get is the 05...my boyfriend n all his friends have SRT-4's so thats all they really talk about when together! If u want to kno anything else just ask!

Best year to get is 04 because of the more lienent pcm and the smaller chance of tranny issues. End of story.
