Re: I wanna see pics of VR-4 Spyder's

I think it would look awesome if someone took a VR-4 Spyder and did a '99-spec facelift on it, or did a European 1st-gen. conversion. Has that ever been done?

Yes to the 99, many times.

Re: I wanna see pics of VR-4 Spyder's

a guy on here that goes by the sn of 91redvr4 (I think) used to have a spyder and was converting it to a first gen... I don't know what's going on with it, but maybe he'll pop up and explain or show some pics...

That would be awesome. I like the look of the European 1st-gens.

Re: I wanna see pics of VR-4 Spyder's

Look at www.3sxperformance.com customer cars, there are some 99 front end conversions on there. Also check out www.3si.org/forum, there are some spyders and other sweet pictures in people's sigs.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: I wanna see pics of VR-4 Spyder's

Yes, I am familiar with those websites and have seen '99-spec conversions on pre-'99 3000GT's, but I haven't seen it done on any Spyders. I think a '99-spec or 1st-gen. (euro version) Spyder would look badass.
