My mom's 96 recently went to get emission tested and failed. The code was P0440, which means a leak in the gas vapor system (vac. lines, gas cap, etc.). That's easy enough, but the other issue stated "Incomplete Monitor - Catalyst". I recently replaced the O2 sensor so I had to disconnect the battery, and I'm thinking it hasn't been driven enough to go through all the 'drive cycle' tests, one of which I'm guessing includes testing the catalytic converter?
any help is greatly appreciated.
*edit*
and I should add that she does need a new muffler, has a rusted hole in it. Not sure if that would effect things or not.
