Hi, I'm will hp,
I have a Saturn sl 2002, my problem is this, when I drive the car for about 2 to 3 hours the transmission will stay in low gear and wined the engine. When this happens I pull over and turn the engine off and reset the check engine light. After that is done then I wait for about 5 minutes. This happens once in awhile. By the way the trans has been serviced at 60,000 miles at the dealer, not soon after about 14,000mile later it started. I also had a transmission shop lok at it and could not find any thing wrong, they had the car for 1 1/2 days. my question to you is can I use transx inthe a 2002 transmission? Thank you! PS. If you like send the reypy to my e-mail also........ |

Re: tramsx
you could but it probelly will be a waste of your money like in your owners manuel it saids not to add anything to the oil except for oil but yet people still make/buy oil treatment for there cars. how often did you change the tranny fluid?

Re: tramsx
IF i would recommend any additive(at thats a big if), i would first need to know the exact cause of the problem. is the check engine light commanded on? if so pull the codes, Autozone and some other part stores will do such for free. are there any other problems related or not? any wierd gauge readings?
