supercharger

i was thinking on buying a supercharger for buttercup.. a freind that i know (has his own shop) told me that the kenne bell is the best for the mustang.. knowing him, he's a professonal and he has one on his mustang but recently i've been seening more mustangs with vortech on em' explain please!

as far as SC's go, twin screws (which is what you're talking about) rule. They have the best spooling characteristics, and pretty acceptable efficiency.

The procharger/vortec setups are slightly more efficient but spool in a very linear fashion....thats assuming you size it intelligently. They are also somewhat friendlier for under-hood placement since they have more options on where they can go. The higher efficiency won't do you any good until near redline, the twin screw will be making way more HP up to the point that the vortec finally starts moving enough air to do something impressive.

Best of both worlds would be a turbo of course

thank you very much.. i think i know what im going to do now!

i just have to save up

im getting the one w/ the chip, cool air kit, boost-a-pump,injectors,spark plugs, bypass valve (bov), and automatic trans. recalibration

$5400 (without shipping tax ect.)
