Re: making enamel to flat possible?
I painted my seatbelts (made from medical tape) with acrylic paint and it worked great.

Re: making enamel to flat possible?
While overcoating with flat is the best way in my opinion, you can also mix the flat in the paint for a softer flat, more satin look. Or mix talcum powder in to the paint to flatten it... - Mark
