blower motor fitment

I need a blower motor for a 1997 grand prix gt does anyone know if other years and models will fit? Thanks

buy a new one but make sure its not just a blower motor resistor first. remember you have a used one in there now

ur right how hard is it to remove its a 3.8 engine i dont know if it makes a difference

97-99 are interchangeable, as long as both cars have the same HVAC system. If your car has climate control, you can't use one from a manual control and vise versa. If the motor is loud or squeaking, it could be debris. IF you only have certain speeds, it's a resistor(manual controls) or blower module(climate control). The motor is not that hard to do, and while you're in there, put a cabin air filter in from a similar year Regal. Our cars never came with one, but the spot is there for it, and it will prolong the life of your motor.
