srt vs. gst

I was headed home tonight from a car club meet down in cove(another section of city) and was on the freeway headed back when I slowly go by this gst that had 97-99 bumper and a "stock" exhaust. I inched further and see a gauge pod(triple) and I look closer(while still paying attention to the road of course) and notice one is a boost gauge. Well we roll for a while and then he randomly cut around some people which blocked me out. 10 minutes later we are cruising again. Then we got to a more open stretch of highway...I waited and waited and waited and he wasn't going to go...so I said fuck it I'll start it...I got on the gas a little and he decided to go, turned out his muffler in the back was a deception because it was pretty loud(must of been a cutout) I immediately floored it, boost went to 20 and a/f into the 10's and for a split second he held on then bam, left in the dust. By about 105ish I decided to let off because of a curved part in the freeway ahead, I had about 8+ cars on the guy and was still slightly pulling when I let off. I knew I was going to take him(I'm not being cocky just could tell) the race was somewhat pointless, he just gave me some nasty looks before time, so I thought I would show him what these little "neons" can do. He didn't have a fmic and only noticable thing was a cutout so the race wasn't that big of a deal...but it was nice to let the car loose
