Fuel Capacity

Questions for 4G Eagle Summit 2 Door ES owners...

I just purchased my 93 Summit a couple of months ago. When the needle hit the E, I went and got gas. Every time I've picked it up, I've put less than 40 litres into the tank. This led me to believe that I have a 40 litre tank. However, according to various internet sites, I have a 50 litre tank (13.2 gallons). So I'm wondering if an (several) actual owners of this car could respond with the fuel capacity of their car. And no, I don't have a user's manual for the car.

First question, then... what's the fuel capacity of your car?

Second question... Is there a Haynes/Chilton automotive repair manual available for the 1993-96 Eagle Summit ES coupe / 4G Mirage?

I think all cars are the same.. If you know how the fuel gauge works, it kind of works out to your advantage, but if you don't, you can find out by searching online. But basically, you have some fuel left after you hit the E mark. It depends on what car it is, but you get couple left. It may be safety feature, avoiding running out of gas.. But who knows?

Oh yeah, and so far, I haven't found a single repair manual of any kind for the car. Just to let you know.
