motor swap

my buddie was just givin a rust free 1992 astro and he wants to put a 350 in it is it a possiable swap?

Suggest you head to astrosafari.com, TONs on info there on V8 swaps. It is quite an easy swap.

2WD Astros are easy with little more than mounts and an electric fan(s) I know of one guy with a ZZ3 in an Astro and have seen another 377 stroker in one (don't know the guy). The stock radiator is usually plenty large for up to a constant 350HP output engine. If you get nasty with it you'll probably want to address the 10-bolt, especially if it has a centrifugal locker (a.k.a. grenade launcher).
