Strange Running '88 T1

I've got an '88 Lebaron Turbo 1, and I've tried to get codes, nothing makes sense.

Symptons:
Smell gas when starting, warm or cold. Sometimes after cold start it runs like the key have been turned off, but PS and all works, Engine just sounds likes it off. I'll give it gas, it acts flooded, bogs, then goes ok(:?) this is intermittant, no pattern detected.
After driving, I shut it off, detect strange smell, not fuel or exhaust, more like charcoal briquets.
Check engine light comes on in a random no sense itermittency. Any help appreciated Thanks.
