mirror dissassembly.
So I'm wrapping up painting my car in the next two days (pictures soon after). But I'm having a problem. I went back to my mirrors and noticed I painted the outside but not the inside. How do I get the mirror front out (they are power) so I can get the inside housing of the mirror?
I saw some clips on the back of the mirror but thats about it. They are off the car at the moment. I couldn't seem to find the page in the mitsu manual for it. But I was using the pdf and it is sucky to search. Ideas anyone?

Re: mirror dissassembly.
I usually just tape off the glass and spray inside the mirrors, it goes far enough back that you can't see it and it looks perfectly fine.

Re: mirror dissassembly.
Thats a good idea, but he's rolling the paint on, not spraying it, if I'm not mistaken.

Re: mirror dissassembly.
Ohhh yeah, I was wondering about how this was going the other day. Well in that case, you're what I like to call SOL because I don't know anyone that has taken apart the mirrors. I don't even know if it's possible.
