A/C Climate Control
End of last week on the commute the a/c started going out the defrost vents when I was pushing the motor. At first it would return to the panel when I backed off but by the second day it won't do anything but come out the defrost.
I checked the vacuum lines over the weekend and found online the check valve fix but I put a brake vacuum bleeder on the line and can't make it move. I can't get it to pull any vacuum on the line either. I'm thinking whatever is up is more serious than the check valve fix. I see a number of the A/C Heater panels for sale on Ebay and I'm thinking maybe that's what I need to scare up. The system has been functional all year otherwise. What I'm really curious about is if I can use the auto climate control module instead of just replacing the manual one I have.

Re: A/C Climate Control
What's the correct name for the metal doodads with the vacuum fittings that move the doors?
Is this what I see being called the servo motor? ** Fixed! ** I started by connecting my brake bleeder pump to whatever these things are and they worked fine so I continued to look for a vacuum leak. Heard some noise and found it hidden under a bunch of crud in the engine compartment. I spliced the line with the crevice tool pipe you get with WD-40 or PB Blaster and it works perfect again.
