Srt vs. srt

Met up with my buddy that has a black srt, only mods are intake, exhaust, s1, and driver mod We drove around for awhile, did a couple of non lagit races(he would randomly gun it ) But on the freeway on the way back....we had open road, I dropped it in 4th and held it at 3k rpms....He pulled up next to me and realized what I was doing. I honked 3 times and we went, suprising at 120(with still about 1k rpms to go before redline)I let off with him being only maybe 1.5-2 cars behind me I know something's up, my car is pulling really strong and I know it's not mine since I just ran that ls2 gto and pulled on him, not too long ago. Hmmmmm

Re: Srt vs. srt

Good ta see ya back Drifty.

Well what mods have you done?
LS2 GTOs are not the fastest things out there and not exactly easy to drive. And SRT-4s are notorious for boostleaks so you never know, I say a true test would be to take it to a track and run it.
other then that two cars of the same model tearing it up to 120mph sound like fun.

Re: Srt vs. srt

why did you start a race at 3k? You should have easily been a gear lower for more instant power.

Re: Srt vs. srt

^^^^^cause thats the ideal rpm you want to be at for max boost on our cars....the lower the rpm the more the turbo has to work there for more boost.....

Re: Srt vs. srt

Wow good run. I wouldn't expect you to pull too much on your buddy. You only have a stage one SRT-4. Surprised you beat a LS2 Goat. When I raced Danno's LS2 Goat he was pretty close, and i've slaughtered an ACR SRT-4. Then again anything can happen on the street.

Gotian and Mushashi, what gives? Still no track times!!!!!!

Yes I only have the s1 ecu but with all my other mods I'm pretty much at the status of stage 2 and then some. I didn't pull on the gto that much but it was enough(maybe about a car), I'm starting to grow a liking of those cars. There's a burnt orange one down at the pontiac dealership...mmmmmmm.....
