Driver info center

How do you diagnose/fix problems with the temperature displaying the wrong value? It's 95 outside today and mine says it's 50.
Thanks.

Hi Notch, Welcome to the forum.

The sensor is pretty simple. It is just a resistor that varies with temperature and is wired back to the Driver Information Center. I have a write-up here from when I installed one in my van.

Since you already have all the wiring, I would suspect either a dirty connector, or the sensor itself.

Take Care,

Thank you for the reply. I'll check the sensor.
