Question Apexi rev/speed meter

Does anyone have this or know of it? I'm thinking of buying it but I want to know what other people think of it. How will I know how to wire it? Does anyone know where a good place to mount it is, it's 126mm wide and 52mm tall. I want to mount it into something, not just sitting on top.

It should come w/ a mounting bracket such as the VAFC and yes I know of a about 6 very good places to mount it w/o having it sit up, but I'M NOT TELLING! Sorry, just use your imagination!

I say you mount it under the stereo near the cup holders. I am sure there are some other good places but because I have a gen 4 civic, I wouldnt know your guys dash setup very well

The manual has a wiring diagram but its confusing me. I thought I had an EJ8 but the maunal only lists; EK9, EK4, EK3, EG6, EG4, and EF9. I have a 98 civic EX which is an SOHC vtec, Is anyone of these mine?? Ill try to get a picture of the manual up.

Here, this might help:

Civic:
EJ6 = 2, 3, or 4 door/D16Y7
EJ7 = 2 door/D16Y5
EJ8 = 2, 3 or 4 door/D16Y8
EM1 = 2 door/B16A2

D16Y5 - 1.6 liter SOHC 16valve VTEC-E
D16Y7 - 1.6 liter SOHC 16valve
D16Y8 - 1.6 liter SOHC 16valve VTEC
B16A2 - 1.6 liter SOHC 16valve VTEC

You have an EJ8. I had mine hooked up to my old 97 Civic ex and it worked just fine. The wiring diagram is in the manual. I printed mine off of the their website. Are you sure you are looking on the right page?

Yeah it really says this. The engine codes dont make sense either, B16A, B16B, D15B. This is the diagram off of the web site, and Im looking on the chart that tells you which diagram to use. I have a chart from somewhere that tells me where the speedo, rpm, IG power, and ground is, couldnt I just use this. By the way, I cant find anywhere to mount it. I dont want to just put it on the passanger side dash. I thought about putting it under the console, above the 12v power source and letting it just hang, but thats not what I want. Nemesls_2000, cant you just give me some idea, my imagination isnt working at the moment.
