Yeah. Its all online at superchevyshow.com or you can Google search "New England Dragway". Its a 3-day event (28th, 29th, 30th). There are two parts: Bracket Racing and the Showcase where you can either race or park your gorgeous cars for others to browse. Sorry, can't do both. I think its a GM-powered event only for either racing or show.Anyone can go and the prices are posted online. I've been the past three-four years and this is my first year I'm racing! It's a really good time (especially the Nitro Coupes...) Check it out online for more info. Hope to see you gus there...

Its not really about the race. I mean they DO have eliminations, but not until Sunday. Friday is test and tune, Saturday is a bonus race plus some of the annual events (nitro coupes, wheelie truck, jr drag) and Sunday is the double (if not single) elimination bracket racing. All in all, its a really good time. But to answer your question, its not the speed of your car, its the CONSISTENCY of your car! YOU pick what time your car will run in a 1/4 mile (thats why they do test and tune, just to get an idea). Then on sunday, your car must run that time for the whole day until you're eliminated. My family survived two rounds and then we went home after we lost. But I can't remember if its single or double elimination. Anyways....
