Sparco seats anyone?

Just wondering anyone has sparco seats in their civic, and I would like to ask how are the seats mounted so the seats will not mounted higher than the stock seats. Mine are sitting about 3/8" higher than the stock seat which I am not satisfy with. I know that civic's cargo floor is not flat so a special floor mount is needed on top of the side mounts, and wondering if there is a trick to mount them.

In case you need to know my seats are mounted with a custom floor mounts, sliders and side mounts.

Also, where do you put the eye bolts for the harness? (I am trying to but the harness in without drilling holes inside my car.)

Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Is it me or it's just this forum is getting worst than ever. No one seems to know much in here anymore, or people who knows rather BS instead of saying something useful.

PS. Does anyone know where did fritz go? or am I just wasting my time to ask?

he moved and said he'd be gone for a month, and then never came back. I think he was kidnapped by aliens.

Oh well, it's our lost. Just my opinion that this forum despriately needs more intelligent and experience people in here.

I know there are people who has the sparco seats but I guess they don't see my thread everytime I post. Anyway, I guess no one can answer my same question for the "I lost count" number of times.

May be someone can make my question a "sticky" so I don't have to post it over and over.

I don't know if you have the height adjuster or not. But if you do then you can simply adjust the height of the chair that way. The height adjuster looks like the floor moung bracket but has 3 circles on an L looking flap of the ends. Kinda hard to explain. But on there you just adjust it to the top opening and it will sit a little lower. My seats did not come with the height adjuster so the seats sit a little lower than stock. Luckily I am fairly tall and it works for me.

Try leaving the height adjuster out and just set the sliders on the actual floor mount system. If you have a digital camera take some pictures of the seat all put together out of your car, especially the bottom and I'll see if I can help you out some more.

As for your second question what kind of seats do you have. Some seats have a spot on the seat for seatbelt harness and some don't. If you have the same as mine then the moung is on the side right by the round adjuster handle. There are like 2 scres or alan scres holding the plastic piece on and you moung it on there. If you have any more questions then send me a PM. Hope I could help a little. Peace

I will try to post up a picture on Sunday or Monday, as for the seats, I have a pair of Sparco EVO so there is no "height adjuster" or anything like that.

The seat's mounting holes are on the sides and it's mounted with the "side mounts". The sliders are sandwitch in between the "custom floor mount" and "side mounts".

The above mounting method is causing the seats sitting a little higher than the stock seats. I know I can take out the slider to make a little lower and I am just wondering if there is another way to mount the seats and still able to slide them back and forward.

Thanks
