92 previa occasionally loosing power

My 92 previa started having problem about 6 months ago. While driving, it would, on rare occasion, would loose its power. Engine would continue to run but with limited or no power. it happened 3-4 times in the last 6 months. Lately it started getting worse. Today it took me 35 minutes to drive less than 10 miles. The van never died, but had almost no power. Then all of a sudden it would go, again to loose power a few seconds later. It made it home though. When I pushed gas it felt like it would die but never did, just lost power. The van has 218K miles.

Had the SAD changed about 4 months ago and replaced fuel filter about 8 months ago.

Is the Fuel Pump the culprit here or something else? Please help.

Re: 92 previa occasionally loosing power

Yes. The problem in my case had to do with Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) . I bought one from salvage yard and replaced it. I have not had that problem since replacing the MAF.
